The Jazz Man
This picture is from a art domain called "Artician" its great to talk to other artists and share comments on your posts.
This picture really shows a representation of me for this subject, it doesn't just present you with an amazing outcome. The colours of this have different stokes showing this image full of life, they also have lots of meaning around this jazz player. Thoughts come to mind as if hes playing because hes happy or sad? The jazz player is showing his true colours by playing the best he can to achieve a dream goal in life? This shows how I am also as a person, very calm and also trying to achieve the very best of my potential.
Si Scott
Graphics has changed me from when I started in my A-Levels, the concept and design work that goes into creating the best final outcome. I have chosen this video because it shows off an artists by the name of Si Scott. Si Scott is a typographer making these amazing designs by hand which is unbelievable. I have always been interested in typography mainly because its the word and design that gets people's attention, this also applies with images as well but the outcome of this is an image of itself.
Matthew Craven
Matthew Craven has a very unique skill in illustration, his work consists of mainly black and white which really shows depth and draws you closer to his mark making skills. The pictures seem to be drawn in charcoal, graphite stick, inks and paints. These images have interested me just only recently as I have just read a small article in "Creative Review".
This picture to the right is by far my favourite. This is called "Two Liverpudlian Thugs." The image shows a very detailed mountain/cliff side and at the bottom you can see a small car/van; a vauxhall old van comes to mind when I look at this. In this car there must be the two Liverpudlians, the image shows amazing detail with every mark, charcoal comes to mind with this as well as a light amount of graphite powder to make a noise effect around the whole piece.Session 1 tasks
What is Graphics ?
Graphics is all about visual communication. The process engages thought and design through making the viewer/customer acknowledge what it is or what is on show. The main drive is looking to find your target market, also it is vital for these designs/work to come across easy to the viewer as well as the graphic designer.
