How was it made? It was made in the game industry, 2 years in the making with lots of research and primary sources  needed to be gathered to produce it.

Using what methods, materials, tools, what kind of technology? There needs to be a lot of game development within this type of work, artists, 3d artists, 3d model making. The technology to put on a readable disc.


Is it identifiable as a particular genre? War game

Who made it, where and when? Infinity-ward created the game

Why did they make it? Who was it made for? 
They have made this game for the public and it is not only on  one console its on both the PS3 and the Xbox360. People who like to play war games and this game however is one of the best on the market.

What was the social, cultural and technological context of its production? 
The public have the opportunity to play with friends online in a lot of different battle mode like for example free-for-all and team death match. People can become very good at the games like for example a clan called FaZe , have recorded and posted many videos on youtube and now they have a partnership and are earning money for this.

What visual effects are produced by the materials and techniques used? 3d artists and computer graphics


How does the image relate to its social context? You can speak to friends in an online match and is definitely a way to add and gain friends.

How has it been displayed and where? They have lots of publicity such as regular advertisements, magazines and interent pages promoting the product


Are there multiple copies or just one? There are thousands shipped across the world and have a guinness world record on how many they've sold since the last game was out.

What viewpoint or values does it offer to its audience or consumers?  People who play these games or that are interested.
